Balazs Simonyi was born in Budapest on August 19 1980. He graduated from literature and film art at the ELTE University Budapest and is currently doing his PhD in Art History there. He is working as an independent photographer, journalist, improvisational actor and director, and his main interest in doing films is documentaries and short films. Simonyi lists marathon running as his hobby and, likewise, marathon movie making, naturally. Finale is his ninth and latest short length film.
