Iván L. Gimeno (17/06/1975, Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain)
Degree in History & Video Screenplaying, while studying at University of Santiago de Compostela was part of the Nús Theatre Company, acting as performer, audiovisuals manager, writing adaptations for the scene (Clerks) and his first edited text, Spiral. In 2005 was published my second book, a collection of short tales called O.S.T
For three years worked at Voz Audiovisual S.A, as assistant to the development director. In this years wrote scripts for fiction & documentary tv series and developed new tv formats. I´m also credited as executive producer of a magazine.
As freelance, i assume different credits in the popular tv quiz show Numbers & Letters (first season as producer, from second to five as director and now as screenwiter) and I wrote scripts for other many other producers.
Degree in Digital Cinema Filmmaking by the New York Film Academy last year, I also directed/shoot many videoclips for spanish bands.
Ussually I cover for some magazines & webs (I work as freelancer journalist since the University) the main music festivals of Europe, as Sonar, FiB or Reading.
