Annemijn Nieuwkoop
Born September 1st 1987 in Nieuwkoop, The Netherlands. at the age of 4 Annemijn started acting in a theater school in Gouda. She had then decided that she wanted to move to America to create art. When she completed High school she moved to canada at the age of 17 to perfect her english at Fanshawe College, London,Ontario. Later in 2006 she attended The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, a 2-year program for acting. During the course of her studies Annemijn started developing a screenplay based on true events from experiences in The Netherlands. In the summer of 2008 She began production on her first short film “Where there is no Light” a film about Human sex trafficking, the film was completed and screened that winter.
She married Cinematographer Michael Magliazzo on December 8th of 2008. Currently she is resides in brooklyn, New York where she is pursuing her acting career and upcoming projects as a filmmaker.
