A BAFTA Cymru-nominated director, I have been actively screenwriting and short film-making since I left school (where my interest was first piqued when supervising basic digital short film production with fellow classmates using a mini-dv camera and a simple edit system). I went on to study Film and Video at the International Film School, Wales, obtaining a 2:1 honours degree in 2006.
2007 - Served as a first assistant director and subsequently a co-producer on the short film TUESDAY'S GIRL, directed by BAFTA Cymru nominee Matt Brown.
2009-2010 - wrote and directed my first professional short film, WW2 thriller VIVE LA FRANCE. Ran workshops with child actors and directed the film in two foreign languages (French and German)
2010 - was one of six directors chosen for this year's It's My Shout scheme (in association with BBC), where I directed a short film in August. It was broadcast on BBC2 Wales in November of 2010, and was nominated for a 2011 BAFTA Cymru award in the Best Short Form category.
2011 - FAMILY FIRST, a short zombie thriller, currently in post-production
Specialties: Screenwriting (short films, features, Grand-scale television) and directing
