Cora Olson and Jennifer Dubin formed Present Pictures in 2006, a Los Angeles-based feature film and television production company to develop & produce independently-financed work from emerging creative artists. Their first feature film, THE BABYSITTERS, stars John Leguizamo, Cynthia Nixon and Katherine Waterston and premiered at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival where it sold to Peace Arch Entertainment and was released in theaters this past May. The duo also produced Marianna Palka’s debut feature film, GOOD DICK, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival in Dramatic Competition and stars Palka, Jason Ritter, Mark Webber, Martin Starr and Tom Arnold. Dubin and Olson are currently self-distributing GOOD DICK which will hit theaters in at least 8 U.S. cities this Fall. They are also prepping two features for production in early 2009: the dramatic thriller, FOREVER, written by Tatia Pilieva and Gill Dennis (WALK THE LINE) and the summer comedy, THE ALAMO, from comedy troupe Almost Mediocre.
